Our Work

Writing, learning circles, workshops, campaigns and referrals: different ways into the same work.

Writing and publishing

Our articles explain feminist ideas in plain language, respond to what is happening in Iraq, and give space to women’s own voices. Everything is free to read and share.

Learning circles

Small groups of women meet regularly online, in a private video call or group chat, to read, talk and think together. No experience needed, no judgement allowed, and what is said in the circle stays there.

Workshops

Free online sessions, easy to join from a phone, on topics such as consent and bodily autonomy, digital safety, legal literacy, financial independence and recognising violence.

Digital campaigns

Short, shareable campaigns that challenge harmful sayings and stereotypes, and celebrate Iraqi women who are changing things.

Referrals and support

We are not an emergency service, but we can help you find trusted organisations that offer legal, health and psychosocial support. Write to us privately.

Research and listening

We listen before we act. Surveys, conversations and feedback from the women we work with shape every programme.

Topics we focus on

  • Consent, bodily autonomy and health
  • Gender-based violence: recognising it, naming it, getting help
  • Women’s rights under Iraqi law, explained simply
  • Digital safety and online harassment
  • Education, work and financial independence
  • Language, media and the stereotypes we repeat

Host an online session with us
